Meet Poe Live
Load posting written from the load, not retyped from it
Poe, the Load Posting Agent, watches every load that is booked with your customer and still has no carrier on it. It writes the posting off the load record.. equipment, stops, appointments in local time, pieces, weight and commodity. Your team posts it.

Every FreightVero agent drafts. A person on your team approves anything that changes a load or reaches a customer or carrier.
Short answer
Poe is the Load Posting Agent in the FreightVero TMS. It watches the loads that are booked with the customer and have no carrier assigned yet, writes the posting from the load record, and rewrites it when the load changes. The posting carries the equipment the load needs, the pickup and delivery city and state, the appointment or window each stop is working to in that stop’s own time zone, pieces, weight, commodity, and the stop instructions a driver has to read before accepting. Poe also tracks how long each load has been sitting uncovered and puts the stale ones in front of your carrier sales desk, ranked. Your team posts it, and your team approves every change to it.
The job today
Posting a load means retyping it. Origin, destination, equipment, pickup window, weight and the note about the liftgate all live on the load already. Somebody reads them off one screen and types them into another.
Then the load changes. The customer moves the appointment to Thursday, the rate gets revised, a stop gets edited. The posting still says Tuesday, because updating it is nobody’s actual job.
The quiet problem is the load nobody looks at. A load books on Monday, nobody covers it, and on Thursday morning it is still sitting there with no carrier and no posting and no one asking about it. Every desk has a few of those in a busy week.
A posting is a promise to a driver. This equipment, this lane, this appointment, this freight. Poe writes that promise from the same record your team is already working, and keeps it honest while the load moves around.
How it works
It already knows which loads are open
A load cannot reach Alerted in FreightVero without an active carrier assignment on it. So the loads booked with the customer that have not gotten there are the ones with no truck, and Poe has that list without anyone building it.
It writes the posting from the load
Equipment type, pickup and delivery city and state, the appointment or window each stop is working to, pieces, weight and commodity. Plus the stop instructions that change whether a driver takes the load, like a liftgate, an inside delivery or a dock that closes at two.
The equipment is the load's equipment
Cargo van, sprinter, small truck, large straight truck, 53 foot trailer, reefer and flatbed. The posting names what the freight actually needs, so the wrong trucks stop calling and your rep stops sorting them.
Times print in the stop's own time zone
“Pickup: Hebron, KY 09/16, 12:30 ET”. A driver reading a Kentucky pickup sees Eastern and sees that it says Eastern. Nobody is doing time zone math on a phone at a truck stop.
It refreshes when the load changes
New appointment, revised rate, edited stop. Poe rewrites the posting off the current load and hands the new version back to your rep.
Uncovered loads age where you can see them
Poe counts how long each load has been sitting with no carrier and ranks them, oldest first, in front of your carrier sales desk. The load that has been quiet the longest is at the top of somebody’s morning.
Your team posts it, and your team approves it
Poe drafts. A person reads it, sets the rate and posts it. Nothing goes out with your MC on it that somebody on your desk did not approve. That is the design, not a gap in it.
What it handles, and what stays with your team
Open means no carrier on it
Not a flag someone remembers to set. The TMS already knows, because the carrier assignment is what moves the load forward. Book a truck and the load leaves Poe’s list on its own.
The posting and the load say the same thing
Both come from one record. When a posting and a TMS disagree, you find out about it on a dock, from a driver, with the customer on the other line.
The stale list is ranked, not just long
A long list of uncovered loads is wallpaper. A list that says which ones have been sitting longest is a morning plan for your carrier sales desk.
Rates stay with the rep
Poe does not set the posted rate. Your rep does, on the way out the door, with the margin in front of them.
Customer details stay off the posting
Your customer’s name and your rate are not in the draft. A driver sees the freight and the stops. Your team decides if anything else goes on.
It writes, it does not negotiate
Poe stops when the posting is written. Working the carriers who answer is Cal’s job on the carrier sales desk, and that is a separate agent on purpose.
What week one looks like
Turn it on and your carrier sales desk opens Monday to the loads with no truck on them, oldest first, each one with a posting already written. A rep reads it, sets the rate and posts it. Nothing on that list got typed twice.
By Thursday the value shows up somewhere else. A customer moved a pickup appointment on Tuesday, and the posting your rep is looking at already says Thursday, because Poe rewrote it when the stop changed. The load that booked Monday and never got covered is sitting at the top of the list instead of the bottom of somebody’s memory.
Poe reads the same load record your team works in the FreightVero TMS, off the load board your dispatchers already live on, and it uses the carrier assignment that the workflow checkpoints enforce.

Frequently asked questions
Does it post anywhere on its own?
No. Poe writes the posting and hands it to your team. A person posts it and a person approves every refresh after that. Nothing carries your MC number out the door that somebody on your desk did not read first. We built it that way and we intend to keep it that way.
How does it know a load has no carrier?
A load cannot reach Alerted in FreightVero without an active carrier assignment on it. So a load booked with the customer that has not reached Alerted has no truck, and Poe treats it as open. There is no second list to keep up.
What goes in the posting?
Equipment type, pickup and delivery city and state, the appointment or window each stop is working to in that stop's own time zone, pieces, weight and commodity, plus the stop instructions a driver needs before accepting. Your customer's name and your rate stay off it unless your team puts them on.
What equipment types does it cover?
The ones on your loads. Cargo van, sprinter, small truck, large straight truck, 53 foot trailer, reefer and flatbed. The posting names the equipment the freight actually needs, which is the difference between a handful of good calls and a morning of wrong ones.
Does it answer carriers who come back on the posting?
That is a different desk. Cal, the Carrier Sales Agent, works carrier replies. Poe writes the posting and keeps it current, and stops there.
