Where Rose Rocket is strong
Rose Rocket calls itself “The Anti-Templated Transportation Platform,” and it launched the TMS.ai brand in February 2025. The pitch is a TMS you configure yourself, with AI agents built in.
- AI agents included, not sold separately. TED turns customer emails and attachments into orders and updates. It came out of beta after Rose Rocket bought Centro, a Toronto email-to-data AI company, in September 2025. Rosie gives record-level context and answers questions. Rocky builds workflows. The pricing page includes all of them in every plan.
- No-code configuration. “Builders” let your team add custom fields, objects, boards and automations without waiting on a vendor.
- Breadth. Orders, quotes, tendering, dispatch, driver apps, track and trace, freight audit and pay, invoicing, BOL generation, a customer portal, appointment scheduling and EDI.
- A go-live promise. The Full Service Platform comes with white-glove implementation and a “Guaranteed go-live in 90 days.”
- Security paperwork. Rose Rocket is SOC 2 Type II certified, which some shippers and enterprise customers ask for.

Rules in the database instead of rules you configure
Rose Rocket gives you tools to build your own workflow. FreightVero takes the opposite approach for its core rules: four checkpoints are enforced at the database level, not a UI setting, and every status change runs through one database function.
- Alerted needs an active carrier, an approved compliance status on the carrier record, driver and truck details, and tracking accepted.
- Carrier Dispatched needs the latest rate con version signed, with the signed copy uploaded.
- Freight On Board needs a BOL and freight photos.
- Delivered needs a POD and the signer’s first and last name.

Custom TMS development as a service
Rose Rocket’s pricing page says custom ERP builds take 12 to 24 months and cost $150K to $500K to implement. FreightVero offers custom TMS development as a live service. The Bronco Logistics build went from its first database migration on Aug 28, 2026 to live Load Market tracking on Sept 3, 2026. That’s one build for one brokerage, not a timeline promise for yours.

Rose Rocket’s agents ship today. FreightVero’s AI load intake is live, and its AI agent program is live, from $1,995/mo. Rose Rocket also has driver apps, a customer portal, EDI and SOC 2 Type II. FreightVero has none of those live.

Switching from Rose Rocket
We scope migration on a demo call and don’t publish an implementation timeline. What’s in place today:
- Customer and carrier records import from CSV.
- There’s no open-load import, so plan to close out in-flight loads in Rose Rocket first.
- Custom fields, objects and automations you built in Rose Rocket won’t carry over. On a custom build, we’d scope them as part of the project.
- Driver apps, the customer portal, EDI and telematics integrations have no live FreightVero equivalent. The customer portal and carrier TMS are in early access. EDI is planned.
- Rose Rocket’s contract terms aren’t public. Read your renewal and notice clauses before you set a date.
