Short answer
Turvo starts at $5,000/mo for its Plan, Execute and Settle Freight tier (as of September 10, 2026). Lower-cost alternatives for brokers and 3PLs include Rose Rocket ($2,080/mo), Tai TMS ($995/mo), Port TMS ($375/mo for 5 users) and FreightVero ($349/mo). Enterprise teams can also compare McLeod PowerBroker (quote) and Revenova ($2,500/mo on AppExchange).
Turvo at a glance
Turvo describes its product as transportation management software “with a collaborative layer that unifies people, processes, and data,” sold as the Turvo Collaboration Cloud. It serves 3PLs, freight brokers, shippers and carriers, and names Fortune 500 logistics providers and shippers, as well as small and mid-sized brokers, among its customers. Turvo also powers RyderShare.
The platform covers order-to-shipment planning, execution and settlement, collaboration and visibility, inventory and warehouse visibility, appointment scheduling, analytics, a driver app and an Integration Hub. Turvo has announced partnerships with DAT, project44, Greenscreens.ai, Denim and others.
Ownership
Turvo raised a $60M Series B in 2018. Lineage Logistics announced its acquisition of Turvo on June 1, 2022, and Turvo runs as a wholly owned subsidiary under its own brand. It’s based in Dallas, with an office in Hyderabad, and led by CEO Billy Sarracino.
Turvo pricing
The “Plan, Execute and Settle Freight” tier “Starts at $5,000 / Month,” as of September 10, 2026. It includes a dedicated onboarding manager, virtual training, data migration, a support center and Turvo Community & Academy. The “Collaboration and Visibility Across the Supply Chain” tier is “Available Upon Request” and adds a dedicated CSM and QBRs. Turvo doesn’t publish whether pricing is per user or per load, the implementation fee, the contract term, or a trial.
AI features
On October 30, 2025, Turvo announced a partnership with Augment to embed Augie, Augment’s AI teammate, for order-to-cash work. CloneOps.ai also lists a Turvo partnership for shipment tracking automation. Turvo’s homepage didn’t name native AI agents when we checked.
What reviewers say
Turvo rates 4.4/5 on G2 from 20 reviews and 4.5/5 on Capterra from 2 reviews (as of September 10, 2026). A G2 reviewer praised “time-saving document generation.” On the critical side, one G2 reviewer described a “1+ year long onboarding,” others mention slow help responses, and one found it hard to use for “high volume accounts.” A Capterra reviewer wanted a quick “Needs Delivery” view.
Why teams look for Turvo alternatives
People searching Turvo pricing are often checking whether it’s in range at all. Common reasons to widen the search:
- The $5,000 floor. That’s $60,000 a year before any add-ons, which puts Turvo out of reach for many small brokerages. Mid-size teams can weigh it against Rose Rocket at $2,080 or Tai Premium at $2,465.
- Onboarding time. Data migration is included, which is a real plus, but one G2 reviewer’s “1+ year long onboarding” makes buyers ask for timelines.
- More platform than needed. Turvo’s collaboration, inventory and warehouse visibility serve shippers and large 3PLs. A truckload brokerage may not use them.
- Partner-built AI. Turvo’s AI comes through Augment and other partners. Buyers who want agents built into the TMS compare Rose Rocket and Port TMS.
Some buyers also weigh ownership. Lineage is a cold-storage company, and Turvo runs as its subsidiary. We note it as a fact only. Our guide to choosing a freight broker TMS lists the questions worth asking any vendor.

FreightVero: broker TMS for teams that don't need a $5,000 platform
FreightVero is our product. It’s new, and it’s aimed at a narrower job than Turvo.
Best for: Small and mid-size non-asset brokerages that want the TMS to enforce paperwork at each step, at a published price.
Starting price: Starter $349/mo (5 users, 250 loads a month), Growth $749/mo (15 users, unlimited loads), Scale from $1,500/mo (unlimited users), as of September 10, 2026. No per-load fees on any plan. Details on the pricing page.
Strengths
- Growth at $749 a month costs less than a sixth of Turvo’s entry tier, with 15 users and unlimited loads.
- Four checkpoints are enforced in the database. Dispatch needs the latest signed rate con version, Freight On Board needs a BOL and freight photos, and Delivered needs a POD with the signer’s full name. See how checkpoints work.
- Live today: load board, multi-stop load entry, carrier booking with swap history, versioned rate cons on your letterhead, document storage, Load Market tracking with ETA risk colors, alerts, tasks, messages, billing queue, reports and an append-only audit log.
Drawbacks
- New, with one design-partner customer, Bronco Logistics, and no review history.
- No shipper collaboration, inventory visibility, driver app or appointment scheduling. The customer portal is in early access.
- Only Load Market is integrated today. DAT, project44 and EDI are planned. QuickBooks Online and AI load intake are in development.
FreightVero is not the right pick if customers expect a shared collaboration view of their freight, or if you need inventory and warehouse visibility alongside the TMS. Turvo does that and FreightVero doesn’t. See FreightVero vs Turvo.
Rose Rocket (TMS.ai): configurable, with a fixed go-live window
Best for: Mid-market carriers, brokers and 3PLs that want unlimited users, AI agents included and a set implementation date.
Starting price: “Starting at $2080/month,” as of September 10, 2026 (Rose Rocket pricing).
Strengths
- “Guaranteed go-live in 90 days” on the Full Service Platform, a direct answer to long onboarding worries.
- AI agents TED, Rosie and Rocky are native and included.
- Customer portal, appointment scheduling and EDI, plus no-code custom fields and automations.
Drawbacks
- Still a significant monthly cost for small teams.
- A Capterra reviewer wrote that integration with other systems “has been a slow progress.”
- Implementation fee and contract length aren’t public.
Tai TMS: broker and 3PL TMS with published tiers
Best for: Brokers and 3PLs moving FTL, LTL and drayage who want to see pricing up front.
Starting price: $995/mo on Growth (2 staff logins, 200 shipments), $2,465/mo on Premium (6 logins, 600 shipments), as of September 10, 2026 (Tai pricing).
Strengths
- Published tiers, each with a branded client portal, a dedicated CSM and QBRs.
- Strong LTL. A Capterra reviewer wrote “The LTL functionality is fantastic.”
- Track & Trace voice agent included for all customers.
Drawbacks
- Descartes acquired Tai in August 2026, and its plans for Tai aren’t public yet.
- Terms “auto-renew in perpetuity” with 60 days’ notice.
- A reviewer wrote “The cost is a little high.”

McLeod PowerBroker: deep enterprise brokerage TMS
Best for: Established mid-market and enterprise brokers that want integrated accounting, EDI and hosting choices.
Starting price: Not published, as of September 10, 2026 (McLeod Software).
Strengths
- Founded 1985, owned by its founder and management, and claims 1,200+ active customers.
- More than 260 integrations and a built-in EDI engine.
- Augment’s agent runs inside PowerBroker (August 2026), the same partner Turvo uses.
Drawbacks
- No public pricing, timeline or contract terms.
- McLeod’s LoadMaster rates 3.7/5 on Capterra, where a reviewer wrote “It is very very expensive.”
- Less emphasis on shipper-facing collaboration than Turvo.
Revenova: CRM and TMS on Salesforce
Best for: Brokers and 3PLs already invested in Salesforce who want sales and operations in one system.
Starting price: “Starting at $2,500 USD/company/month” on an annual subscription, per its Salesforce AppExchange listing as of September 10, 2026 (Revenova for brokers).
Strengths
- Customer relationships, operations and finance in one Salesforce-native platform.
- Artimus AI builds load records from incoming emails and answers quote requests.
- LaneIQ and RateIQ for carrier matching and pricing.
Drawbacks
- Annual subscription, and Salesforce user licensing should be confirmed in the quote.
- Revenova’s own website doesn’t publish pricing.
- Rated 4.91 on AppExchange (46 reviews), with no Capterra reviews when we checked.
More on our Revenova alternatives page.
Port TMS: multimode with portals at a small-business price
Best for: Brokers, 3PLs and shippers that want customer and carrier portals and multimode coverage without a $5,000 floor.
Starting price: $375/mo for 5 users (Pro), $750/mo for up to 12 users (Growth), as of September 10, 2026 (Port TMS pricing).
Strengths
- White-labeled customer portal and a carrier portal, which cover part of what Turvo’s collaboration layer does.
- Truckload, partial, LTL, drayage, intermodal and small parcel.
- Native AI agents: Coverage, Procaller and Dispatch.
Drawbacks
- EDI, API and one-time onboarding fees may apply.
- Six Capterra reviews, so less public feedback.
- AI pricing after 3 free months sits in the proposal.
How to choose a Turvo alternative
- Decide whether collaboration is the point. If customers and partners working in the same view is why you’d buy Turvo, compare Turvo against Port TMS portals and Rose Rocket’s customer portal. If not, focus on execution tools.
- Get a dated onboarding plan. Ask each vendor for a week-by-week plan and a reference customer who went live recently.
- Compare 12-month cost. Include implementation, integrations and migration, since Turvo includes migration in its tier and others may not.
- Test your highest-volume customer. A G2 reviewer flagged trouble with “high volume accounts,” so demo with your busiest account’s real data.
