This privacy policy explains how FreightVero Inc., 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 (“FreightVero,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through the FreightVero website and the forms on it. It is written in plain English. If something is unclear, contact us.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the FreightVero marketing website, including pages where you request a demo, join early access, or send us a message.
It does not cover data that a customer’s staff enter into the FreightVero TMS or other FreightVero products. That data is handled under the agreement between FreightVero and that customer.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a demo request, early access, contact or careers form, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- Your message
- Your company’s approximate load volume
Please don’t send sensitive personal information, such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers, through our forms.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our servers and tools may record technical information. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit and the page that referred you.
How we use information
- To respond to your demo request, early access sign-up or message
- To schedule and prepare for calls you ask for
- To manage early access waitlists and tell you when a product you signed up for is available
- To send you updates related to your request, with a way to opt out in every marketing email
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms of use
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The site runs on WordPress, which may set cookies needed for the site to work, such as cookies that keep a logged-in administrator signed in.
We may also use analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. We use Google Analytics. Google’s privacy policy explains how Google handles this data. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
How we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that host the website, process form submissions, send email, provide analytics or schedule meetings for us. They may use the information only to provide those services to FreightVero.

- Business transfers. If FreightVero is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that deal.

How long we keep information
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship, unless the law requires a longer period. Analytics data is kept according to the analytics provider’s settings.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information collected through the website. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us to stop.
- Access, correction and deletion. You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Location-based rights. Depending on where you live, such as California, other US states, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law.
To make a request, use our contact page or email info@freightvero.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
International visitors
FreightVero is based in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from yours.
Children
The website is for businesses in the freight industry. It isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Third-party links
The site links to other websites, such as regulators and software vendors. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy doesn’t cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we’ll make it clear on the site.
