Mid-size brokerages
Freight brokerage software for a team with more than one desk
Sales books it, carrier sales covers it, ops tracks it and billing closes it. FreightVero keeps the rules for each handoff in the database, so no desk can skip a checkpoint.
Loads slip between desks
Once a brokerage has a dozen people or more, the work splits. Customer sales takes the tender. Carrier sales covers it. Ops runs check calls and watches appointments. Billing waits for the POD.
Each handoff is a place for a load to stall. The rep who covered the load assumes the rate con came back signed. Ops assumes the carrier’s compliance was checked. Billing finds out a week later that the POD has no signer name.
The owner can’t read every load. A manager ends up walking the floor asking “who has this one?”
What changes when the rules live in the database
In FreightVero, every status change goes through one database function. A load can’t be marked Carrier Dispatched until the latest rate con version is signed. It can’t be marked Delivered without a POD and the signer’s first and last name.
That holds for every user, every screen and every integration. A new hire on their second week gets the same guardrails as your best ops lead. The details are on the workflow enforcement page.

Built for handoffs between sales, ops and billing
Live features first. Early access and planned items are labeled.
Four database-enforced checkpoints Live
Alerted, Carrier Dispatched, Freight On Board and Delivered each require proof. Refusals come back with the reason, shown word for word on the load.
Alerts that don't pile up Live
Five conditions are watched: tracking red, disconnected or declined, rate con missing before pickup, and billing blocked. Each alert is raised once per load and clears when the problem does.
Live tracking with ETA risk Live
ETA from the truck’s last position, checked against the carrier’s appointment. Green, yellow, red. Tracking that goes quiet for 45 minutes gets flagged.
Tasks and messages on the load Live
Load-linked tasks with an assignee and a due date. Staff message threads stay attached to the load, so the history travels with it.
Four roles Live
Admin, Operations, Sales and Billing. Deactivate a user who leaves without losing a line of their history.
Carrier swap history Live
When a carrier falls off, the swap needs a reason. The old assignment is kept, the old rate con is voided, and the load steps back.
Reports for managers Live
Volume, margin, on-time and tracking coverage, from the same data the desks work in.
AI agent program Live
Agents for check calls, customer updates and after-hours coverage prepare the work and a person approves it. Early access, from $1,995/mo.
Start the shift from the alerts list
The alerts list shows what went wrong while you were away. A disconnected driver. A pickup coming up with no signed rate con, and a note that dispatch will be blocked.
An alert that cleared itself is recorded separately from one a person acknowledged. Managers can see which problems got handled and which went away on their own.
- Raised once per load, however often the check runs
- Linked straight to the load that needs work
- Pairs with tasks for anything that needs an owner

Not built yet
Multi-branch divisions, SSO, a public API and EDI are planned. Login today is email and password. QuickBooks Online integration is in development. If one of these is a hard requirement, say so on the demo and we’ll tell you where it stands.
Walk a load through every desk
We’ll show you a load moving from tender to billing queue, and where each checkpoint stops it.
Frequently asked questions
How is each company's data kept separate?
Row-level security runs on every table, and every policy filters on the owning company. Automated cross-tenant isolation tests check it. The audit log is append-only, documents sit in private storage behind expiring links, and backups run daily. More on the security page.
Can we move from our current TMS?
Customer and carrier records import from CSV on Growth and Scale. Open loads don't import today. We look at what you run now and scope the move on a demo call. The TMS migration page covers what to plan for.
Can a manager correct a load that was entered wrong?
Load numbers are assigned once and never change, so a load entered for the wrong shipment is cancelled and re-created. Every edit to a load is written to the audit log with the before and after values and the user who made it.
