Set the standard for every load once, and have the database hold it

You can’t read every load. FreightVero puts your paperwork rules in the database, records every change in a log no one can edit, and shows volume, margin and on-time in one place.

What keeps a brokerage owner up at night

Most owner problems show up late. A carrier that should never have been booked. A load that delivered two weeks ago and still isn’t billed. A rate con that went out at a number nobody approved.

By the time you hear about it, the money is gone or the customer is angry. And the answer to “what happened?” lives in one person’s memory and a few email threads.

Then there’s the software bill. Per-load fees grow as you do. Contract terms are hard to find before you sign. Features you were shown in the demo turn out to be “on the roadmap.”

How FreightVero approaches it

FreightVero was built with Bronco Logistics, a freight brokerage owned by Jered Hensley, while Bronco moved freight. The rules an owner cares about sit in the database, where no screen, integration or database user can skip them.

Every page on this site labels what’s live, what’s in development and what’s early access. Prices are on the pricing page, with no per-load fees on any plan. How the rules work is explained on the workflow enforcement page.

What an owner gets out of FreightVero

Live features first. In development and early access items are labeled.

  • Rules in the database Live

Four checkpoints guard Alerted, Carrier Dispatched, Freight On Board and Delivered. Every status change goes through one database function, and the status column is protected.

  • An audit log no one can edit Live

Who changed what, when, and the before and after values. The database blocks edits and deletes against the app, an admin and anyone with a database connection.

  • Reports that match the loads Live

Volume, margin, on-time and tracking coverage, built from the same records your team works in.

  • Compliance status required to book Live

A load can’t reach Alerted until the carrier record carries an approved compliance status. Carrier swaps keep the old assignment and the reason it came off.

  • People leave, history stays Live

A user who leaves is deactivated and their records stay. Messages are append-only, and rate con versions can’t be edited or removed.

  • Company data isolated Live

Row-level security on every table, automated cross-tenant isolation tests, private document storage with expiring links, and daily backups.

  • QuickBooks Online In development

Connection work is underway. Invoice and bill sync are not built.

  • AI agents Live

Seven agents that take on repeat desk work, with a person approving what they draft. Early access, from $1,995/mo, priced by load volume.

Every load shows what it's waiting on

Open a load and the Required actions list names what’s missing before the next status. The same list your ops lead sees is the list the database enforces.

You don’t have to ask whether the rate con came back signed. If it didn’t, the load can’t be marked Carrier Dispatched.

  • Refusals shown word for word, with the reason
  • Load numbers assigned once and never changed
  • Customer billing rules copied onto the load at booking

Frequently asked questions

How new is FreightVero?

Very new. The TMS went from its first database migration on Aug 28, 2026 to live Load Market tracking on Sept 3, 2026. Bronco Logistics is our design partner and the first company on the platform. We'd rather you know that before a demo than after.

Can we change the checkpoint rules to match how we run?

Customer billing rules are set per customer. The checkpoint rules themselves aren't a self-serve setting today. If your brokerage needs a different workflow, custom TMS development is quoted after a scoping call.

What does FreightVero cost for a brokerage our size?

Starter is $349 a month for 5 users and 250 loads. Growth is $749 a month for 15 users and unlimited loads. Scale starts at $1,500 a month with unlimited users. There are no per-load fees. AI agents start at $1,995 a month and are scoped on a call.
