EZ Loader TMS at a glance
EZ Loader TMS and EZ TMS are the same product. The old ezloadertms.com address now redirects to ez-tms.com, the app login still runs at portal.ezloader.app, and LinkedIn and the Truckstop marketplace still use the EZ Loader name. The company calls it “The TMS for freight brokerages ready to level up,” “built by brokers, for brokers,” for full truckload and LTL.
The feature list is broad for the price: load builds with multi-stop and custom load lists, a built-in CRM and pipeline, market rates and a historical rate engine, branded quoting, digital rate cons and carrier onboarding, an email aggregator, a document splitter and document-type predictor, live tracking with automatic status updates, batch invoicing, invoice and shipment audit, factoring connections, two-way QuickBooks Online sync, and customer portals. LTL portal and EDI (204, 210 and 214 through Bitfreighter) are add-ons with their own fees.
Integrations listed on the vendor site include DAT, Truckstop, Descartes MacroPoint, Trucker Tools, Highway, RMIS, MyCarrierPortal, SaferWatch, Parade, Denim, Triumph and QuickBooks.
EZ TMS pricing and contract terms
The Standard Plan is $500 a month and “Includes 3 user seats. Additional users priced per seat,” as of September 10, 2026. EZ TMS says it’s “Flat-rate. No per-load fees,” with no feature gates, and offers enterprise pricing. The per-seat price for extra users isn’t published.
The public service agreement adds terms worth reading before you sign:
- Setup: “a one-time setup fee of $1,500 (Fees waived for 12 Month agreement).”
- Term: set in your contract. “Absent an individual contract the term is month to month.”
- Renewal: renews for the same length unless either side gives notice “at least sixty (60) days before the expiration.”
- Early exit: “a buyout fee of 50% of the remaining contract value.”
- Price increases need 60 days’ written notice.
AI and reviews
EZ TMS doesn’t market AI agents. Its document splitter and type predictor are the closest features. We found no G2, Capterra or Software Advice listing for EZ TMS or EZ Loader, so the only public feedback is the vendor’s own testimonials, which include a customer with “over 100 users.”
Why teams look for EZ Loader TMS alternatives
- The name change. Plenty of searches for “EZ Loader TMS” come from brokers checking whether the product still exists. It does, under the EZ TMS name.
- No independent reviews. Without G2 or Capterra listings, buyers can’t compare EZ TMS feedback the way they can for Ascend or Aljex. Ask for references you can call.
- Contract exit costs. A 50% buyout of the remaining contract and a 60-day renewal window make a 12-month agreement a real commitment.

Best for: Small brokerages that want more users per dollar than a 3-seat plan and a TMS that blocks steps missing their paperwork.

Best for: Very small brokerages that want to sign up online, pay month to month and avoid setup fees.

Strengths

- 4.9/5 on Capterra from 367 reviews, the opposite of EZ TMS’s review gap.
- AscendAI included free, and DAT and Truckstop posting inside the TMS with your own subscription.
Drawbacks
- Per-user pricing. Three users on Basic is $207 a month, but Pro features cost $447 for the same three.
- A Capterra reviewer noted you’re “Not able to have multiple ascend screens open at the same time with different filters.”

How to choose an EZ Loader TMS alternative
- Find your contract end date. If you’re on EZ TMS now, the 60-day notice window and 50% buyout clause set your timing.
- Price at 5 and 10 users. Compare EZ TMS with per-seat add-ons, Ascend per user, Port TMS and FreightVero tiers, and BrokerPro by volume.
- Get references where reviews don’t exist. EZ TMS, Ten4 and FreightVero have no third-party reviews. Ask each for a live demo with your own loads.
- List add-ons you’d pay for. EDI and LTL portals are extra on EZ TMS, and Port TMS may charge for EDI and API use.
- Decide how much the TMS should enforce. If missing rate cons or PODs have cost you money, ask each vendor to show what the software blocks.
