We build freight software inside a working brokerage
FreightVero is a freight technology company. We make a broker TMS, run seven AI agents on top of it, and build custom TMS software for brokerages that need their own.
What FreightVero does
Freight brokerages run on paperwork that has to be right before a truck moves. A signed rate con. An approved carrier. A BOL at pickup and a POD at delivery. A lot of what goes wrong in a brokerage starts when one of those gets skipped on a busy day.
We build software that doesn’t let those steps get skipped. That work covers three things.
- The freight broker TMS. Load entry, carrier booking and dispatch, rate cons, documents, live tracking and a billing queue, with four checkpoints enforced in the database. Live.
- AI agents. Seven agents that take on repeat brokerage work like load entry and check calls, with a person approving what they draft. Early access.
- Custom TMS development. For brokerages that need software built around how they run. Quoted after a scoping call.
A Carrier TMS, a customer portal and a load board browser extension are also in early access.
Built with Bronco Logistics
FreightVero was built with Bronco Logistics, a freight brokerage owned by Jered Hensley. Bronco is our design partner and the first company on the platform. The software was shaped by what happened on Bronco’s desk, one load at a time.
The first surprise was the paperwork. Bronco’s documents arrived in three unrelated formats, and a third of them carried no price. Software that assumes every load starts from a tidy rate con wasn’t going to work.
Other lessons came from use. A driver pausing tracking used to end it. A driver change mid-load had to keep the tracking history without using a second tracking credit. Each fix came from something that happened on the desk. The full story is in the Bronco Logistics case study.
From first migration to live tracking in six days

Multi-tenant from the database up, with automated cross-tenant isolation tests and daily backups.

AI load intake backend deployed. The review screen that lets staff use it is still in development.

Rules in the database
Workflow rules run inside the database, so the app, an integration and a direct database write all hit the same checkpoint.
Published pricing
Plan prices are on our pricing page, with no per-load fees. Starter is $349/mo, Growth $749/mo, and Scale starts at $1,500/mo.
A person approves what AI drafts
Our AI reads documents and prepares work. It doesn’t create a load or act on its own. A person checks the draft and confirms.

Every product, agent and integration on this site is marked live, in development, early access or planned. If it isn’t marked live, it isn’t live.

Ryan Butz, CEO and co-founder
Ryan is an operator with four companies behind him. They include an ecommerce parts business sold to a top-10 distributor, more than $75 million in ecommerce sales, and a patent for location-based order fulfillment.

How is the AI agent program priced?
The AI agent program is live. Pricing starts at $1,995 a month and depends on load volume. Each agent engagement is scoped on a call before anything is agreed, so the price reflects the work the agents would take on.
